Sasha: before and after

This is Sasha. Sasha broke the upper bone in her leg (her femur) during one of her violent runs along the inside of her fence. She was chasing sounds of people and dogs on the other side.

Her leg was pinned by a veterinary specialist and after some TLC, Sasha is doing well!

Oscar gets a massage

As something funny to do, about a year or two ago, my wife started massaging the front paws of our miniature schnauzer, Oscar. He seemed to like it, so she continued. Then she did it a few more times as he started to enjoy it. Now a year or two later, he demands paw massages at least once a day.

My dog Max performs tricks whenever he wants something,

He taught himself and he does it all the time with no prompting whatsoever! It works especially well on visitors.

Here's Tashi at our pet friendly holiday rental property. Often we get 'George', the koala, sitting on the balcony.

The first few times Tashi ran around in great excitement. Now she just looks at him, rolls her eyes and settles down on the couch for a snooze.

Crazy Miss Chloe

We think she has many aspects of Yoda... especially the head movement when she plays!

Carrot plays fetch

Carrot the kitten loves to play fetch. I think she thinks she is a dog. If you have aluminium foil she will harass you until you make it into a ball that she can chase after. Throw the ball and she'll scurry off to collect it and promptly bring it back to you, waiting in anticipation for you to throw it again and again.
